Installation steps:

1. Attach the heatsink with screws.

Step 1: Clean the sides of M.2 SSD with a wet cloth and wipe with a dry towel.

Step 2: Place a silicone pad (0.5mm pink) on the aluminium back cover. Make sure there is no semi-circular space covered.

Step 3: Place M.2 SSD on a thermal silicone pad. Be sure to adjust the semi-circular space of the aluminum back cover.

Step 4: Remove the double-sided protective film of the light blue thermal silica gel pad.

Step 5: Place a silicone pad (1mm blue) on the front, and try to place it in the middle of M.2 SSD, gently press it with your finger.

Step 6:Place the heatsink on the silicone pad and adjust the screw holes.

Step 7:Attach the heatsink to the back with 6 screws.

Tips:It is best not to remove the protective film to the installation position to save the silicone pad. It may damage the silicone pad.

Warning: Do not allow the heatsink to touch the metal end of the M.2 SSD during installation, as this may cause a short circuit.

2. Attach the SSD cooler with screws.

Step 1: Clean the side of M.2 SSD with a wet wipe (bag, no. 1) and wipe it with a dry towel (bag, no. 2).

Step 2: Remove the double-sided protective film of the light blue thermal silica gel pad.

Step 3: Place a silicone pad (1mm blue) on the front, and try to place it in the middle of M.2 SSD, gently press it with your finger.

Step 4:Place the heatsink on the silicone pad and adjust the screw holes.

Step 5:Fix the ends of the heatsink with 2 rubber bands.

Compré este disipador para montar un disco NMVe M2 secundario en mi PC ya que el primario se estaba quedando sin espacio. Al ir en la parte trasera de la placa base no tiene disipación de serie lo que puede afectar al rendimiento general del disco de instalarse sin nada. Así que decidí comprar este disipador por las buenas reviews. Y gran acierto. Montarlo fue facil aunque se agradecería al menos unas instrucciones básicas dentro del paquete, sobre todo indicando qué tornillos son para fijación al disipador y cual para asegurar el disco M2 al sistema. Aun así el montaje no llevó mas de unos minutos y queda muy bien asegurado en su sitio. Buena apariencia y estupenda capacidad de disipación. Consigue que esté mas fresco que el disco M2 principal del PC que está con el disipador de stock de la placa base. A unos 40 grados en reposo y algo mas de 50 bajo uso intensivo. Muy alejado de los 70 grados que es cuando estos discos empiezan a sufrir estrangulamiento de rendimiento por temperatura. Como se puede ver en las capturas, queda muy estético y tambien puede verse como en reposo está por debajo de la temperatura del disco duro primario del sistema que usa el disipador de la placa base. Recomendable y a un gran precio.
