The ONLY book that has captivated my students
Granskad i USA den 5 april 2018
I am a pre-kindergarten teacher, so I have four and five-year-olds. I have checked out dozens and dozens of books on behavior from the library and tried many different techniques and I could not seem to get my students to grasp the concept of how making one choice can lead to another etc. etc. Not only do the kids in my class have so much fun choosing Danny’s choices in the story, but they also love seeing how the story can change depending on what they decide for Danny. They are finally grasping the concept that not only can one bad choice lead to another and have an effect on others, but you can also change a bad morning into a great afternoon or vice versa. My students constantly ask me if we can “hang out with Danny” and I have everyone’s attention when I pull out this book, even the most difficult behavioral students. I wholeheartedly wish there were more books like this! My students are actually involved in the story instead of just listening. Active participators certainly learn more! Five stars all the way!!!

Not for us
Granskad i USA den 6 september 2018
The idea behind this book is really cool. You flip to different pages depending on what the child chooses and it changes the story. However, the consequences were very vindictive and dramatic and there was not emotional support modeled from the parent. If you practice gentle parenting and your goal is to maintain a good relationship with your child, this is not the book for you.

Great images, great concept
Granskad i Storbritannien den 20 juli 2021
This book is a delight; great images which will appeal to young, lively, boys. The concept also is well executed, dealing with an important issue - beginning to understand how actions have consequences. Our 5 year old grandson loves the stories and they are helping him to see how decisions affect ones life. The nine different scenarios give lots of opportunities for engaging.
I rated this 4 rather than 5 because of the price, which is on the high side.

Fun book!!
Granskad i USA den 2 augusti 2018
This is a fun book - and the kids really like it! All about a child's "power to choose" - and how those choices affect the child's life. A good teaching tool without being boring for kids. Please mark if you find my review helpful. Thank you so much!

Awesome
Granskad i Storbritannien den 13 juni 2020
I read this with my grandchildren (7 and 5). They love the 'choose your ending' format of the book.
It took a while to get to all 9 endings.
It was a good conversation starter about choosing the way we react to things and sometimes they now say 'What would Danny do?'
Slightly American in its vocabulary, but my grandchildren have watched enough US TV to not be phased by this.
The hardback book was also good quality.
