The product came in just 2 days, faster than said on the order. Product seems to be good quality, have used it for some hours now, and it works fine, fans cools the pad and the laptop seems cooler, fan sound is ok. Not noticed when listing to YouTube etc, but when only working on the computer it's like an AC on low mode. Not very quiet. And it vibrates a lot. But it's definitely worth the money. I will have great use for it. Better than burning up you laptop battery 🔋

Works perfectly, it's super silent and holds my 17 cm laptop, it's not heavy nor too tall. And it arrived it two days. Recommend!

Keeps my legs cool

As I have a one or other laptop on my knee for a lot of the day (both work and personal use) I needed something to keep my legs cool. I was previously using a plain wooden board about the size of the laptop base. It helped, especially as it made sure the laptop fans were not blocked by clothing, but could still get very warm on my legs. I had looked several times for an alternative but the cushion sort still transmit heat to the legs, and I don't have space for a the mini table sort (and also thought they might be too high for comfortable typing for long hours.

This is about the width of my 15.6" laptop and a little deeper and so fits perfectly. I don't want/need space for a mouse as I use that on the arm of the chair). I think a 17" laptop would over hang the sides. Even without the fans on it keeps my legs nice and cool as air can flow easily under the laptop. When I've heard my laptop fans spin up faster I've tried plugging in the fans on this and they are quieter than the laptop at that point. I wasn't even sure they were running the first time I tried. When they are running I actually start feeling a slight chill in my hands above the keyboard as the air movement increases. I'm yet to try on a day with several meetings, but I feel confident it will still keep my legs cool.

I don't think this would help much if you have a laptop which is struggling to stay within it's correct working temp range. Better to make sure it's own fans are operating correctly and are not clogged with dust. However it's perfect for making the laptop comfortable to use on your lap.

The USB cable to plug it in can come out either side to match your laptop USB ports and there is a clip on both side to hold it when not in use. I dislike messy cables about, but this tucks away nicely.

All in all, I'm very pleased with this and it's the best solution for the way I use my laptop.

Ergonomic & comfortable to use, but noisy weak fans

Nice ergonomic shape and comfortable to use either on your lap or your desk. Tilts the laptop towards you at a good angle for typing & viewing the display(s). USB lead for the fans can be threaded out on left or right side to suit your laptop. My laptop has a dual display with one behind the keyboard tilted up, this cooling pad puts the 2nd display at an even better angle making it even easier to read. However, the fans are quite noisy & lack power. The system monitor on the laptop showed almost no difference in CPU & GPU temperatures after putting the fans on an be the noise was far greater than the laptops' own fans when in turbo mode for gaming . There are good quiet fans in the market that could be used so its a shame this almost great product is spoiled by using sub par fans.

Got one problem

I only started using cooler when my ancient laptop started to get too hot. Certainly solved the problem so I decided to use it on the new model, but then the usb cable died so went looking for another.

It works absolutely fine, never hear the laptops fans fire up now. It just has one problem (for me) though, the neoprene bottom is not as comfortable as the old one as no padding, which gave it a bit more height and a pleasure to use on your knees. I've tried sticking it on top of another laptop pad but makes it too heavy. So I'm either going to have to get used to it or start doing a bit of thick quilting with the sewing machine and make myself a pad to fasten onto it.

So, I have a core i7 laptop with a 2070 super graphics card which can all get really hot when gaming. The fans on the laptop can be very noisy after an hour or so's play, especially if the air intakes on the bottom are restricted as they are when it's on my lap. Though the chill mat does make a little noise when plugged in, it's way quieter than the internal fans and they don't kick it when it's on. It's comfortable for at least a couple of hours use on my lap and it's a perfect fit for my 17" laptop.
Downsides are the noise, which is slight, and the plasticky construction; for the price I hoped for something that felt a little more premium.

Despite the fact description said for a 17" laptop, used on a 15" MacBook, worked well, keeping laptop cool during the heatwave in August 2020. There are holes all over the board so it not only keeps the laptop cool but also means your thighs can breathe! There is a lead to plug in to your USB port which can be plugged in on either the left or the right hand side (the connector on the cooling mat is in the middle so you can easily feed it through to either side. Really appreciate the fact that it is lightweight Pleased with my purchase.
