Stockholm Urban Mix, is a Colouring Book for Adults with drawings of places around the city of Stockholm, Sweden. Not mandalas, instead a walk through a city. The hand-drawn illustrations waiting to be coloured are like Snapshot Stories, told by local illustrator Stefan Lindblad. Each drawing comes to life using a sketchbook, pens, markers and pencils. A few pages all right to color but the rest I don't feel are appropriate for a coloring book. There are too many that are just boring (an escalator?) with too much sidewalk, for example. Maybe some people like to fill in the blanks with their own drawing but I buy a coloring book to color interesting subjects drawn with inspiring detail. The artists original artworks are probably enjoyable. Maybe they could work on their line drawing potential.

I bought it because my daughter loves to color. She made the pages come alive with color and the artwork is beautiful. Some of the artwork is detailed and others allow you to fill in some spaces as you desire so you can also unleash some of your own artistic talent to make the end result unique. Very nice book.
