So, in short, here is the book: The Source is your brain. You should practice using it. Use it often, and as with most things you do on a habitual basis, you will get better at using it. Better use of 'The Source' will benefit you.
The sickeningly charming prose used in the book and the humble braggadocio are major turn offs. Do buy the book if you would like to know why the author is so great. The author does not pay nearly enough attention to just how much luck the successful need in order for one's best laid plans to go as one planned, and this unwillingness to face the cold hard facts pervades the entire book. The message the reader is left with is patently false: you can make your life great, and if you don't, that's on you. Well, no, often it isn't. Sometimes the stars don't align, as they didn't, regrettably, with the publishing of this 'self-help' book that promised so much but delivered so little.

“Thinking for success” isn’t a new concept, but now Dr Swart explains the neuroscience behind the concepts followed by many highly successful and motivated people from sports starts to corporate leaders so anyone can change their thoughts and life outcomes. Whilst some may scoff at the “magic” of it all, with over 25 years of scientific and clinical experience Dr Swart knows what she’s talking about – and has walked her talk. As she writes, “We know that merely registering that something is possible in the brain can change what happens in the body of the outside world”.
Dr Swart provides simple exercises so you can analyse your existing thought patterns and behaviour and upgrade them to “attract” the outcomes you do want. And journaling means you can capture and crystalize your thoughts so you really know what you’re thinking – not what you think you’re thinking!
It’s an excellent book. Read about the science, learn how to reprogramme your neuroplastic brain for success and positive life outcomes, and try the concepts – just be sure to focus on what you really want because you can change your thinking and your life.
