A book of 1980s projectsGranskad i Storbritannien den 23 juli 2017
I was lured in by the title and the weave on the front. I hadn't registered that this was a series of projects. The one on the cover still looks good but the rest are less inspiring. The idea was to find interesting elements to try out in my own weaves but I found most of the projects dated rather than vintage and so far it hasn't really fired my imagination. Some things are slow burners though so it may yet prove useful...

Well I am new to doubleweave and am still trying to get my head around the subject. Generally a very nice book, if rather dated in terms of patterns and photography. Basic techniques still apply however. It is edited rather than written by the stated Author. Not for beginner weavers. It is, however the only available resource on the subject I can find in the current market, since Jennifer Moore's book is out of print.

This book has given me so much inspiration, not only to weave the projects in it, but to use the ideas for new ideas developped from them. Very good ilustrations and very careful explanations of everything. My only regret is that quite a few of the drafts are for 16 shafts.
