Since the first book was from Calder's perspective, I was excited to read the next part of the story from Lilly's perspective and honestly, I loved it! Lilly's voice is different then Calder's she doesn't want to be seen as helpless but wants to help Calder and her dad get accustomed to her dad's new life as a merman, all the while hoping that she too will sprout a tail like her dad.

It's a great continuation for the Lies Beneath series.

If you loved the firs tone, you are going to be thrilled with this one!!! I sat in fred meyer and red this book for over an hour. Finally mine arrived and I gobbled it up in just three days. It was in beautiful condition. I can't wait for the third one!!!!
